I just got back from the warehouse sale put on by Shaw Flooring. They showcase some of their newer products as well as ones that will be introduced in 2009. It was great going to the warehouse. I got to see some of their carpet rollers (which are huge) as well as their warehouse facility. It is really a magnificent place and they work very efficently. As far as carpeting trends, it seems that earth tones (beige, browns, taupes, creams, etc) are going to be big in 2009. As far as the texture, tip shear and looped carpet look like they are going to be huge. They also showcased many of their other floor coverings including hardwood floors and carpet tile, as well as ceramic tiles. I am a big fan of Shaw carpet because they always seem to be the trend setters rather than the followers.
